Rates & Pricing
Custom Lettering
$120/hour
Hand-painted lettering can be installed on most surfaces— windows, walls, vehicles, vessels & more! Adding precious metals such as white or yellow gold leaf make the presentation all the more special & eye-catching.
We are available for interior and exterior murals, as well as historic preservation projects. Custom rates may apply for large projects.
Custom Signs
Starting at $600
Custom Signs get to shine when your messaging needs to be mobile, detached from a building, or gifted as a piece of art. These can be any size, shape, and full of color.
These are a popular choice for long-distance clients. USPS or freight rates are applied for shipping.
Wood and Metal options available.
Mounting hardware and installation not included.
Logo Design
Starting at $2200
Our logo packages include a family of custom graphics designed specifically for your brand, delivered in the form of digital vector files, with unlimited use rights attached.
All graphics start as a pencil sketch and will retain a handmade look, even in their final form as digital files.
Financial Equity
Money exchange should be a mutually empowering experience.
We offer the following alternatives to business as usual:
✶ Monthly Payment Plans without interest, for up to 6 months. Initial deposit still required.
✶ Sliding Scale based on the Green Bottle Model. This equity tool allows the client to select their pay bracket based on their economic experience. Click on the link to see the breakdown of the three brackets.
✶ A Pay-it-Forward Fund aimed at wealth redistribution via professional artists. Anyone is welcome to give more than their final payment. Just let us know you’d like to pay it forward, and we’ll add it to the fund.

Meetings

Booking
Along with a signed contract, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit before work starts. This covers meetings + design time, and will be deducted from the final invoice. An additional materials deposit may be required for larger projects.

Contract Terms
Every project is contracted under the following agreements
✶ Cost estimates are based on a fixed hourly rate plus materials and fees. If additional fees are required during the project, they will be submitted to the client for approval, then added to the final invoice.
✶ Changes to scope of work require prior discussion and a new bid, or may incur a change fee.
✶ Designs created under contract are the intellectual property of Heidi Tullmann (DBA Handsome Hand Signs) and are owned under copyright. No design shall be reproduced, distributed, or altered in any way. Rights to the use of a design are granted to the client by the owner of the design, and are limited to its stated application. Change to usage rights granted only by permission and after appropriate usage fee is paid.
✶ For digital assets, full payment is due before release of the final files. For physical signs, full payment is due upon receipt of the product by the client. For installation/on-site work, full payment is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed upon.
✶ Acceptable forms of payment include Check, Cash, ACH transfer, Credit Card, PayPal or Venmo.
✶ If an invoice remains unpaid 15 days from the due date, a late fee of 10% will be applied.
✶ Either party has the right to terminate the contract with 7 days advance notice. Late termination by the client may incur a fee of 26%-100% of the bid, depending on the amount of work completed by the termination date.
